Account and Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your TWICE Messenger account, and how to request the deletion of some of your data without deleting your account. TWICE Messenger is published by JAUPIN Design LLC.

Delete your account (from the app)

You can delete your account directly in the app, at any time:

  1. Open TWICE Messenger and sign in.
  2. Go to your Profile screen.
  3. Select Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.

If you can no longer access the app, you can also request account deletion by email: write to support@twice-messenger.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject "Account deletion request".

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove from our production systems:

  • Your profile and digital business card (name, photo, job information, social links)
  • Your connections and contact wallet
  • Your messages and shared media
  • Your call history
  • Your location history and crossing (encounter) history
  • Your push notification tokens
  • Analytics and attribution identifiers associated with your device are deleted or de-identified

Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days at the latest.

What we may keep

We may retain limited data where the law requires it or to protect our users:

  • Billing and transaction records related to paid subscriptions, for the duration required by tax and accounting law
  • Records related to safety reports, fraud prevention or abuse, for as long as strictly necessary

Request deletion of some data without deleting your account

You can ask us to delete specific data (for example your location history or your crossing history) while keeping your account:

  1. Write to support@twice-messenger.com from the email address associated with your account.
  2. Use the subject "Data deletion request" and describe the data you want deleted.
  3. We will confirm and process your request within 30 days.
